Why I Built This.
I’m from Moncks Corner, South Carolina — a small town where you learn early that nothing comes free and the math always tells the truth. I left for Jacksonville, Florida at 20. Memphis in 2004. New York in 2019. Retired from the road in 2022 with 35 years in transportation and management behind me and a B.S. in Mathematics that wouldn’t let me ignore what I was seeing.
For most of those years I was the driver. The dispatcher. The manager. The operator stuck at a yard with no outbound for two days, watching the per-mile math get worse every hour I sat. I heard the same line from every driver around me: “Ain’t nothing we can do about it.” I never believed that.
The math wasn’t mathing. Loads paying weak rates. Deadhead miles eating margin nobody was counting. Fuel costs hidden inside trip-profitability spreadsheets nobody actually opened. Dispatchers making moves on gut feel because the data wasn’t built for them. I built TSFI for myself first — the system I wished I had every time I was overwhelmed with paperwork at a truck stop trying to figure out whether the next load was worth taking.
Now it’s built. And the industry is on notice.
